Lead Scientist, Fermentation (18-month fixed-term contract) – Remote
In this role, the successful candidate will be GFI Europe’s top fermentation science expert, mainly leading a project to address a key knowledge gap for the alternative protein sector in Europe: what is the scale of fermentation inputs which will be needed in the future and how to source them sustainably.
They’ll also provide subject matter expertise across a range of GFI’s other activities, and help to direct efforts and funding towards the research areas that can make the biggest difference for the future of fermentation and sustainable food.
- Term of employment: Full time (flexible hours) with a 18-months fixed-term contract.
- Location: Flexible – we will consider applicants who are based in one of the following countries: UK, Netherlands, Belgium and France. This is a remote role.
